Ajahn Kongrit Ratanavaṇṇo – Abbot

Ajahn Kongrit Ratanavaṇṇo was born in Korat, northeast Thailand, in 1971. After completing his military conscription, he made the decision to become a monk for three months in accordance with Thai tradition in 1992. However, those initial three months turned into an extended period, and he has remained a monk up until the present time.
Following five years of training under Ajahn Supot Tejadhammo at Wat Bueng Saensook in Korat, Ajahn Ratanavaṇṇo moved to Wat Pah Nanachat while Ajahn Jayasaro was the abbot, Ubon in 1997. There, he not only learned to speak English but also served as one of the abbot's assistant and as the monastery secretary who helped the sangha with their visa. In 1999, he had the opportunity to spend a year at Abhayagiri Buddhist Monastery in California before eventually settling down at Amaravati Buddhist Monastery in 2001.
At the beginning of 2023, he was invited to take on the role of abbot at Skiptvet Buddhist Monastery in Norway.
Ajahn Chanaphairee Candavaṁso

Ajahn Chanapairee Candavaṁso, also known as Ajahn Dta, was born in 1978 in Trakan Phot Phon District, Ubon Ratchathani Province, into a farming family. He is the youngest of four siblings.
At the age of 24, following his mother's wish, he was ordained into the Buddhist monkhood on July 13, 2002, at Wat Pa Nong Kung in Tan Sum District, Ubon Ratchathani Province. He lived with senior teachers and gradually deepened his practice of Dhamma. Upon completing 10 vassa (rains retreats), he moved to reside and study Dhamma at Wat Nong Pah Pong in Ubon Ratchathani Province in 2012.
In 2017, he served as a Dhammaduta (missionary monk) at Bodhinyāṇarama Monastery in New Zealand for one year. Subsequently, he served as a Dhammaduta at Amaravati Buddhist Monastery in England for two years, and at Wat Buddhadhamma in Melbourne and Bodhipāla Monastery in Adelaide, Australia, for four years. Since late July 2025, he has been serving as a Dhammaduta at Skiptvet Buddhist Monastery.
Ajahn Anejo

Ajahn Anejo is a Swedish Theravada Buddhist monk of the Thai forest tradition, in the Ajahn Chah lineage. He first came into contact with Buddhism in late 2005/early 2006 when he was 23 years of age (born 1982) through reading a book on Zen Buddhism.
After a gradual increase in practice and trying a few different traditions he started visiting several monasteries in the Thai Forest lineage. The search for a teacher eventually took him to Thailand in 2011 where he spent one year as a monastic after which he returned to Sweden.
Later finding out that there were monasteries in the same lineage also in England he went there and took up monastic practice again in late 2013. After the two year initial training, he was fully accepted into the bhikkhu Sangha as of November 2015, with Tan Ajahn Amaro as his preceptor.
