Open Day at Skiptvet Buddhist Monastery
Saturday 5th September 11:00 AM–2:00 PM
Did you know that Skiptvedt is home to the Nordic region's first Buddhist forest monastery in the Thai Forest Tradition of Ajahn Chah? The monastery has been part of the local community for some years, but many have never had the opportunity to visit. We now invite neighbors, families, and anyone interested to an open and informal day at the monastery.
You don't need any prior knowledge of Buddhism or meditation. Come to get to know the place, meet people, experience the beautiful grounds, and learn more about a unique part of Skiptvet.
